It lets you describe your desired network state in clear, human-readable terms, no deep scripting or programming required.

It is not a new concept, but it is gaining traction as organizations look to modernize their network management practices. It builds on existing Infrastructure-as-Code, DevOps principles and practices, applying them to the network domain, implemented using open-source components. This unlocks new possibilities:
