Structure

The FMC configuration is divided into five high level sections:

  • system: System level configurations, such as smart licensing
  • domains: Domain configurations
  • devices: Device level configurations, such as standalone, cluster
  • objects: Object configurations, such as network objects and security zones
  • policies: Policy configurations, such as access control and prefilter policies
  • existing: Existing objects configuration, such as ports: HTTP, SSH or networks: any-ipv4
