Overview

The FMC configuration is divided into high level sections:

  • nac_configuration: Configuration that alters how the NAC solution behaves (like enable bulk operations)
  • existing: Use of pre-configured FMC objects such as ports: HTTP, SSH or networks: any-ipv4
  • system: System level configurations, such as smart licensing
  • domains: Domain configurations
  • devices: Device level configurations, such as standalone, cluster
  • objects: Object configurations, such as network objects and security zones
  • policies: Policy configurations, such as access control and prefilter policies
  • vpns: VPN configurations
  • integrations: Integrations with external systems

The Data Model describes how to create resources but not what functional purpose they serve within the FMC configuration. For more information about FMC please visit the documentation.
