NGOAM

NGOAM (Next Generation OAM, also called VXLAN OAM) configuration manages the operations, administration and maintenance settings for VXLAN EVPN fabrics on NX-OS devices. install_acl installs the ACL that traps NGOAM packets to the supervisor, which is required for VXLAN OAM tools such as ping and traceroute over the overlay. Loop detection periodically sends probes on access ports to detect Layer 2 loops and blocks a port where a loop is found; after the port recovery interval the port is checked again and brought back up when the loop is gone. Loop detection requires the ing-sup TCAM region to be carved first. NGOAM requires feature ngoam.
